colourQ challenge #52... WOOOHOOO!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLOURQ!!! When I say that I cannot BELIEVE it's been a year, I mean it!

We have had SO MANY fabulous people play along with us each week, and I have been SO BLESSED to get to know so many of you and now think of you as dear friends!

Today's challenge is a little different... some of you may have just joined us, some of you are "old-timers"... but regardless, our challenge for today is to use the above sketch & pick your favorite colourQ challenge from the past! There is a visual list over on the right sidebar to help you choose!

For those who play along, posting the color swatch they used along with challenge sketch (you'll have both in your post) and leaving a comment on each DT's blog, I'll randomly draw from those folks to get a winner of a FABULOUS $25 prize! AND - the colourQueen from this challenge will become a member of the Royal Court DT until the end of the year! How cool is that?!?

colourQ challenge Spotlighted by Creating Keepsakes!

Months and months ago I got an email from an editor at Creating Keepsakes - they wanted to do a spotlight on the colourQ! It's one of those things that seems sorta too-good-to-be-true, so I didn't want to get my hopes up too much...

BUT HERE IT IS!!! How SUPER COOL is THAT?!? It's on page 16... I haven't gotten my issue yet, but Sylvia did & she was so sweet to send me a pic of it!

But you gals who play with us each week already KNEW we were cool, huh? Thanks SO MUCH to all of you, you not only make it fun each week, we wouldn't be here without YOU!!!

colourQ challenge #49 ~ Winner Crowned...

Thank you all so much for playing, and my apologies for not getting the winners up sooner. One of my co-workers passed away last week, unexpectedly. She's was a sweet gal, only a year older than me... I was already behind last week when Tuesday rolled around, and after the news I just lost my motivation.

A lot of you seemed to enjoy these colors - I'm so glad! Occasionally the designers all gravitate towards a card, and for this challenge our colourQueen is a winner for the second week in a row... please congratulate for this intricately breathtaking card:
