colourQ challenge #55 (x2)...

Happy Tuesday! You know what THAT means, time for another colourQ Challenge!!! Today we're playing with 2 colors palettes, one Halloween~ish (sorta) and the other in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month! Loved these retro looking coffee mugs from The Elegant Cookie! And I really loved these rain boots from the Breast Cancer Site! You know if you go "here" every day and click, you help fund mammograms. And if you shop there, you help even more!

We also have a little prize this week, a $20 digi shopping spree at Lori Boyd's shop!

To be eligible for the prize drawing, you MUST follow all the normal rules AND you MUST MAKE A CARD USING EACH PALETTE & link both cards up to InLinkz.

My first project is based on the pinks, but I'll be posting a card later using the other colors~

colourQ challenge #54 ~ Winner Crowned...

WOWZA (as LeAnne would say - lol) we had a TON of SUPER FAB entries last week!!! The voting was all over the place, but there was a number that kept popping up - #25! I am very honored to bestow the title of this week's colourQueen to...

Torico!!!

Torico went to a lot of hard work on this card, she had to design the stamps AND have them manufactured before she could even sit down & make her card - lol! For those of you who don't know, Torico designs for There She Goes Clear Stamps. I can honestly say she won fair & square, I'm probably the only gal out of all the Royal Court DT's (almost 70% are SU! demos) that immediately recognized her name! I love the simplicity of her card and I really love the button/twine treatment - I will definitely be 'borrowing' that idea! I struggle a lot with C&S, but I am so drawn to it... weird huh?

Welcome to colourQ Challenge #54!!! It's that time of year, we get to use colors that in themselves are quite tacky together, but around Halloween they just make so much sense! This awesome candy dish I found at SomethingMoreStore... well as it turns out, sometimes I find something that is SO COOL, it sells out before the challenge happens. Too bad, I really wanted one of these - lol! Here's a cookie jar they have that's pretty sweet, too!
