HAPPY TUESDAY!!! This week's super yummy colors are inspired by these funky "Call Me Coral" flip flops by Vera Bradley! Are these just cute as a button? These colors just scream summer to me, plus they remind me of sherbet...

colourQ challenge #39 ~ Winner Crowned...

What a gorgeous group of entries this week - I just love staring at all those thumbnails! We had beautiful contributions from 40 amazing artists, thank you so much for playing with us - I am ALWAYS IMPRESSED!

Although it was hard to narrow down, this particular entry caught our attention with it's bold use of color, as well as the wonderful texture of the embossing. A huge CONGRATS and title of colourQueen goes out to none other than the very loyal and talented...

I hope you had as much fun with these colors as I did... I used them with the sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You this week & WON Card of the Week - YAAAAAAY! I've been playing with them for a year and a half & finally made it! Perseverance is key! I also hope you had an awesome 4th of July - too bad the work week starts back tomorrow! But the good news is tomorrow will bring a brand spankin' new colourQ challenge!

Welcome to the colourQ Challenge number 39 - can you believe it's been 39 weeks? That's so crazy! Since it's the week of the 4th, I thought it would be appropriate to play with red & blue this week, and as usual - not just ANY red & blue would do! I found this super cute pin cushion over at Etsy in warmnfuzzies' shop, it's SO ADORABLE!!!

So here is my take...

I have the pleasure of introducing a new DT member this morning as well! Sylvia has been chosen colourQueen a couple times here, and her work is not only SUPERB, but also extremely creative. I first encountered her on another challenge and was in awe over the card she'd made! So here's Sylvia first challenge with us - I'm SO HAPPY she's a part of the Royal Court...
