Maisie's 2nd birthday is Saturday, and as I was browsing for party ideas I came upon this whimsical little Paper Circle Gardlands over at HoopDaLoop! Love this fun inspiration!!!

colourQ challenge #55 (x2)...

Happy Tuesday! You know what THAT means, time for another colourQ Challenge!!! Today we're playing with 2 colors palettes, one Halloween~ish (sorta) and the other in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month! Loved these retro looking coffee mugs from The Elegant Cookie! And I really loved these rain boots from the Breast Cancer Site! You know if you go "here" every day and click, you help fund mammograms. And if you shop there, you help even more!

We also have a little prize this week, a $20 digi shopping spree at Lori Boyd's shop!

To be eligible for the prize drawing, you MUST follow all the normal rules AND you MUST MAKE A CARD USING EACH PALETTE & link both cards up to InLinkz.

My first project is based on the pinks, but I'll be posting a card later using the other colors~

colourQ challenge #41...

Good morning & Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone is having a great week so far... We have some really amazing colors for you this morning - I had SO MUCH FUN playing with these, and I hope you will, too! The inspiration for this challenge is a つまみ かんざし - Tsumami Kanzashi, a Japanese "flower hair decoration" - IT'S AMAZING!!! The artist's shop, HanamiGallery on Etsy, is full of these ~ so check them out! {I want one of each!}

Here's my take... I went with the floral theme & even added some bling, just like the Tsumami flower...

colourQ challenge #16...

Here's my take on this week's challenge... aren't these colors YUMMY!?! This week's inspiration comes from artist Susan Sheehan, at Artfire.com. These are handmade lampwork beads, aren't they gorgeous? More info on my card can be found at my blog!

colourQ challenge #13...

Well, Christmas is now a warm, fuzzy memory & the festive holiday colors are behind us! (I do know that a few of you will not be missing Glorious Green - lol!) As I was perusing the deals at my local "megamart", I saw that they're already putting out Valentine candy! Wow... I was shocked they waited until Christmas was over! So in the spirit of jumping the gun, how about a sweet, candy heart inspired color scheme?!?

I'll be having my little princess in a few weeks, and found this rather adorable layered hair bow, from 2lil Angels Boutique, which is the inspiration of this week's challenge! Don't worry, I haven't gotten out my wallet yet, since Alex is just now growing hair at 18 months, I'm sure she'll be bald for a while as well! Here's my take on the colors, and info will be posted on my blog, as well...
