colourQ challenge #189...

Hello! Sorry to be so late with this post, my laptop's screen died a couple days ago & hubby just got it fixed last night while he was at work - YAY!  So after getting it back this morning I have been playing catch-up! Thanks so much to everyone who played along last week - your work is AMAZING!

Speaking of amazing, we have a new Royal Court member.... Melissa!!! I am so excited to have her join us, she is super sweet and super talented! Please help me welcome her to colourQ!!!

Our inspiration this week comes from this cool Prism Delta Kite from Dick's Sporting Goods... makes me want to head to the beach to fly kites!

Here's Melissa's sample...

And form the rest of the incredible  Royal Court...

Ready to get inky?!?

ENTRY DEADLINE is MONDAY, May 20th at 12 midnight CST, to be considered for colourQueen! You must be linked before the deadline to be in the running for colourQueen, but if you miss it, you are welcome to leave your link in the comments!

PLEASE use the palette provided for your project!

You'll notice that a few of our designers use colors similar to the SU! colors listed in the palettes - just try to keep it close!

Please display our palette badge, but at the VERY least, you MUST put a link in your post back to this challenge~ Thank you!

Using InLinkz, link to the actual post/gallery page your project is in, and select the thumbnail image of your project. Any mis-linked entries are subject to deletion, but I'll try to let you know if there's a problem!

*** Just so you know, InLinkz is not fool-proof, some of you may not be able to post the thumbnail of your card... if not, link your profile picture. But if you CAN post the thumbnail of your card, please do! If I have time I will go back & 'fix' the Inlinkz for those of you who cannot get your project thumbnail to post, oky-doky? If I do "fix" it for you, your thumbnail may be moved to a different position on the entry list ***

Hope you get to play along this week!!!

Hi, this is Nathalie from the island of Mauritius. I am the proud mother of a three year old little princess and twin boys aged 9 months. Ever since I can remember I have loved paper and the story goes that I was using a pair of scissors before my second birthday. I enjoy making cards and have been participating in various challenges since January this year. I am absolutely thrilled and immensely grateful to be able to design for colourQ, I hope you will like my cards ; )

Time to get stampin!!!

colourQ challenge #130...

Good morning!!! Happy colourQ Tuesday!!! So who is ready for some bright colors?!? We had an awesome week last week - the gallery is just busting at the seams with talent, THANK YOU ALL for playing along!

We are a little sad today, Lori has stepped down from colourQ to devote more time to her family and other endeavors. We have loved sharing her work with you and I hope you'll take a minute to go give her a little cyber hug! Thank you Lori for devoting your time to colourQ ~ we love you!

Our inspiration today comes from this super cool tutorial for this Fabric Easter Basket over at the Moda Bakeshop! This is such a beautiful project! (If anyone dares to make it, with these colors of course, you will be featured on our sidebar for a whole year!)

Here's my take on the colors (I also used this week's RetroSketch)...

And from our amazingly awesome Royal Court...
